I went to buy some sushi and asked the employee making it if they had eel sauce. He said they didn’t. I then noticed packaged eel sauce behind him, ready for sale, and asked again, clarifying that I simply wanted to buy one. Instead of explaining or helping, he yelled “NO.” The experience was very disappointing. There was no effort to communicate or provide good customer service. If the sauce wasn’t available for customers for some reason, a polite explanation would have been enough. Instead, I was met with an unnecessarily rude response. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I left the 4 sushi packages I was going to buy definitely not going to waste my time with a guy like that

My experience with the people who work at this place gives me an undeniable desire to come back, even though I have five other options closer to my home. Especially the Bakery & Deli team, whose attention and dedication truly make a difference. I sincerely hope their excellent work can be recognized as it deserves.

I’ve always loved shopping at Publix, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I placed and prepaid an online order specifically to avoid waiting in line and to help make things easier for the associates. My order included a cookie platter, custom cake, and sandwiches, with a scheduled pickup time of 1:45 PM. I even arrived early at 1:35 PM to make sure I stayed on schedule for my event. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the bakery had already given away my cookie platter. They had to quickly make another one on the spot, causing even more delay. The platter I received looked thrown together with leftover cookies and didn’t resemble the advertised photo at all. Instead of a nicely assorted tray, I received 3 chocolate chip, 4 key lime, 3 oatmeal, and 1 M&M cookie. I’ve never seen such careless presentation from a Publix bakery before. Then came the cake. I had to wait again because it wasn’t ready either. When I finally received my “custom” cake, I was shocked to see that none of my customization requests had been done. I specifically requested a “Happy Birthday” message, and it was completely ignored. Already upset, I tried speaking with the manager, but she seemed far m

I had such an amazing experience thanks to Mocha Ray! I went in close to closing time, expecting to be rushed, but she was the complete opposite—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. She reassured me right away and made my sandwich with so much care and attention to detail. What really stood out was how she took the time to recommend a different bread and explained how it tasted—and wow, I’m so glad I listened because it was delicious! You can tell she truly cares about her customers and enjoys what she does. Her energy is contagious—you walk away feeling happier than when you came in. On top of that, the sandwich was amazing, you could literally taste the love. Publix needs more people like her. Thank you, Mocha Ray, for making my night!

This was my first time shopping at this Publix location and I was genuinely impressed by the entire experience! From the moment I walked in, the store was clean, well-organized, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. Brenda, who was assisting at self-checkout, answered my questions with such kindness and ease. I also had the pleasure of interacting with Keila, a bilingual cashier who made sure that every customer felt included and understood, regardless of language. That level of attentiveness really stood out. It’s also always a good sign when you see local heroes—like firefighters—shopping there too. It adds to the sense of community and trust in the environment. Overall, a smooth, friendly, and inclusive experience. This is definitely a location I would love to come back to! Kudos to Publix!
